Where it came from
Released in 2020 as part of the twentieth anniversary of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures line, Series 20 continued the tradition of offering diverse, non-licensed characters in mystery-foil bags. This series was designed to celebrate two decades of the theme by featuring a varied collection of archetypes, including the Super Warrior, the Tournament Knight, and the iconic Brick Costume Guy, which pays homage to the very first minifigure series released in 2010.
The design of Series 20 was crafted to balance contemporary character tropes with nostalgic nods to LEGO history. The set was well-received by the collector community for its high level of detail, particularly the specialized accessories and printing techniques that have become the hallmark of the line. The sealed box format remains a sought-after acquisition for collectors interested in the full assembly of the sixteen-figure set in its original, unopened state.
