LEGO Minifigures - Series 25 - Complete

Released in early 2024, the LEGO Minifigures Series 25 (set 71045) represents the ongoing evolution of the blind-bagged collectible format that LEGO introduced in 2010. This specific series was notable for marking a shift in packaging, moving away from traditional plastic bags toward recyclable cardboard boxes to align with the company's sustainability initiatives. The collection was designed to offer a eclectic mix of original characters, ranging from fantasy archetypes like the Fierce Barbarian and Harpy to modern-day figures such as the Gamer and the Sprinter.

The design philosophy behind Series 25 reflects the long-standing approach of the LEGO design team to provide detailed, expressive characters that push the boundaries of printing and accessory inclusion. Each figure was crafted to feature intricate torso and leg detailing, often incorporating dual-molding techniques and unique hairpieces or gear. Upon its release, the set was well-received by the adult fan community for its creative character concepts, though the transition to closed cardboard packaging sparked considerable discussion among collectors who previously relied on tactile methods to identify specific figures within the store displays.
