Where it came from
Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja, first appeared in the LEGO Ninjago theme in 2011. Initially introduced as a mischievous child attempting to follow in his villainous father's footsteps, the character underwent a significant narrative evolution to become the central hero and leader of the ninja team. This minifigure represents the character's core design aesthetic within the Ninjago lore, reflecting his journey from an antagonist to the legendary ninja destined to save Ninjago City.
The design of this iteration draws from the collaborative efforts of LEGO designers who sought to visually capture Lloyd's transition toward his eventual role as the golden elemental master. By utilizing signature green color schemes and specialized ninja headgear, the figure was crafted to remain consistent with the broader aesthetic of the theme. The character's design has been well received by collectors and fans of the series, serving as a staple representation of the franchise's long-running internal mythology.
