Where it came from
Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja, was introduced in 2012 as a central figure in the LEGO Ninjago theme. This specific minifigure iteration, identified by set number 892060-1, was released as a promotional polybag item. The design mirrors the character's evolution from a mischievous boy to the prophesied savior of Ninjago, featuring the distinctive green color scheme and ninja hood that have become hallmarks of the theme's long-running aesthetic.
The Ninjago line was developed by LEGO to blend traditional ninja lore with futuristic technology and fantasy elements. The design of Lloyd focuses on clarity and playability, ensuring that the character remains recognizable to children who follow the accompanying animated series. As a polybag set, this version was intended to be an accessible entry point for fans and collectors, reflecting the brand's strategy of maintaining consistent interest through recurring character updates.
