Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter

Released by the LEGO Group in 2012, set 9498-1 is based on the Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor piloted by Jedi Master Saesee Tiin during the Clone Wars. The model emerged during a period when LEGO was heavily expanding its representation of specialized Jedi craft seen in the animated series, aiming to capture the distinctive green and white livery of Tiin's personal vessel. It was designed to reflect the sleek, triangular aesthetics established in the prequel trilogy while incorporating play features like flick-fire missiles and an opening cockpit.

The set includes minifigures of Saesee Tiin, Even Piell, and an R3-D5 astromech droid. Upon its release, it was noted by the fan community for its accurate color scheme and the inclusion of two distinct Jedi Council members, making it a desirable pack for collectors focused on the Jedi Order. While it followed the general structural design language of previous Jedi interceptors, the set was praised for its robust build and the inclusion of unique printed elements that differentiated it from earlier, similar releases.
