Where it came from
Toad's Special Hideaway, released under the set number 77907-1, was an exclusive promotional set produced by the LEGO Group in 2021. Designed to capture the whimsy of the Super Mario franchise, the model features a small, buildable Toad house with a vibrant, colorful aesthetic that mimics the environment seen in the Super Mario video game series. It served as a standalone display piece, offering fans a miniature vignette of a signature location within the Mushroom Kingdom.
The design emphasizes the blocky, brick-built approach characteristic of the LEGO Super Mario line, focusing on simplicity and playability. As a limited-edition promotional item, it was primarily distributed through specific retail channels, making it a sought-after entry for collectors of the Nintendo-themed collection. Its reception among enthusiasts was positive, specifically noted for its compact footprint and the inclusion of the Toad character, which helped complete the landscape of the broader interactive theme.
