Ernesto de la Cruz

Ernesto de la Cruz is a common character card from the Hyperia City trading card game, a series that debuted during the mid-2010s to capitalize on the growing popularity of urban-fantasy-themed tabletop collectibles. The set was conceived by a team of illustrators aiming to blend high-tech futuristic aesthetics with traditional character-driven narratives, positioning it as an accessible entry point for younger players interested in competitive deck-building.

The design of the card leans into the series' signature visual style, featuring bold, sharp lines and a color palette intended to evoke a neon-soaked, dystopian cityscape. As a common card, it was produced in high volume to provide foundational gameplay utility, serving as a reliable staple for players rather than a pursuit for high-end investors. Its reception among collectors is primarily rooted in its role as a functional, low-rarity card that reflects the broader aesthetic goals of the Hyperia City expansion.
