Judy Hopps

The Hyperia City trading card series was conceptualized as a thematic fusion of speculative urban futurism and character-driven narrative design. The Judy Hopps card, designated as number 24, was released as part of the initial set to highlight the series' focus on archetypal investigators operating within complex, hyper-modern environments. The design team sought to emphasize a sense of kinetic energy and tactical preparedness, utilizing a high-contrast color palette to distinguish character units from the expansive, neon-saturated backgrounds typical of the collection.

Upon its release, the card was classified as rare, primarily due to its distinct holographic finish and the inclusion of nuanced background details that expanded the established lore of the Hyperia City universe. The artistic direction for the Hopps character was intended to balance an approachable aesthetic with the grit of the setting's noir-inspired themes. Critics and collectors largely praised the card for its precise linework and the way it integrated seamlessly into the series' broader mechanical framework, solidifying its status as a sought-after piece within the set.
