Where it came from
Nala, Fierce Huntress, is a card featured in the Shimmering Skies set of the Disney Lorcana trading card game, released in 2024. This set represents the fifth expansion of the game developed by Ravensburger, which explores the lore of the Great Illuminary. The character draws directly from the 1994 animated classic The Lion King, focusing on Nala's role as a protector and skilled member of the pride.
The artwork for this uncommon character card continues the game's tradition of commissioning original illustrations that honor the aesthetic of Disney's animation while fitting the tactical requirements of the tabletop card game. Designed for deck-building versatility, the card was integrated into the game to provide players with specific strategic options within the steel ink category, emphasizing teamwork and synergy with other character cards from the same set.
