Where it came from
Anthem of Champions is a card featured in the Foundations set, designed to anchor the early gameplay experience for new players. It was created to provide a reliable, staple effect that stabilizes board states, reflecting a design philosophy focused on accessibility and long-term utility within the game's evolving meta.
The artwork and mechanics were developed by the internal creative team to evoke a sense of triumphant progression. By emphasizing core gameplay mechanics that reward creature-heavy strategies, the card was received as a functional, foundational piece intended to teach players the value of buffing their units during combat phases.
