Aven Cloudchaser

Aven Cloudchaser was originally introduced in the Onslaught set in 2002 before being reprinted with new artwork for the Tenth Edition core set, which served as a bridge for new players to the modern era of the game. Designed by Wizards of the Coast as a common white creature, it reflects the classic Magic: The Gathering approach of providing utility through flying creatures that can interact with the battlefield by destroying enchantments upon entering play.

The Tenth Edition illustration of Aven Cloudchaser was created by artist Daren Bader, who brought a vibrant, high-fantasy aesthetic to the bird-folk creature.
