At the beginning of your upkeep, look at the top card of your library. If it's a creature or planeswalker card, you may reveal it and put it into your hand. If you don't put the card into your hand, you may put it on the bottom of your library.

Where it came from
Cabaretti Ascendancy was released in 2022 as part of the Streets of New Capenna expansion for Magic: The Gathering. The set is themed around an art deco-inspired metropolis built by angels and run by five distinct crime families, each representing a specific three-color combination. This enchantment serves as a thematic anchor for the Cabaretti, a family defined by their focus on community, revelry, and the strength of the collective.
The card was illustrated by Wisnu Tan, who captured the decadent and bustling nature of the Cabaretti family’s public-facing persona. The design reflects the family’s philosophy of growth and numbers, allowing players to manipulate the top of their library to reward them for maintaining a wide board presence. Upon its release, it was noted for its utility in Commander decks that emphasize token generation, fitting seamlessly into the playstyle encouraged by the set's multicolor requirements.
