Where it came from
Consult the Star Charts was released as a promotional card for the Edge of Eternities expansion, a set centered on themes of cosmic exploration and celestial navigation. Designed to incentivize organized play and community engagement, it was distributed through specialized tournament kits to reward players for participation during the set's initial release window.
The card features artwork commissioned to evoke a sense of arcane discovery, utilizing a color palette of deep violets and golds to contrast with the mechanical aesthetic of the set. While it remains a functional staple within its game, it is regarded by collectors primarily for its unique border treatment and distinct holographic foil stamp, which distinguish it from the standard edition found in booster packs.
