Where it came from
Dauthi Warlord was released in 1998 as part of the Exodus expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. The set served as the conclusion to the Rath Cycle, a storyline centered on the plane of Rath, a dimension engineered to facilitate the invasion of Dominaria. The Dauthi are a race of shadow-dwellers native to this plane, characterized by their lack of physical form and their ability to flicker between reality and the void.
