Dwarven Warriors

Dwarven Warriors originates from the 1994 Summer Magic expansion, often referred to by collectors as the Edgar set. This unique release was produced by Wizards of the Coast for the South American market, specifically designed to introduce Magic: The Gathering to Spanish-speaking players. The set utilized the revised edition template, featuring the same card mechanics as its English-language counterparts but with translated text and a distinct print quality that sets it apart from earlier editions.

The artwork for Dwarven Warriors was created by artist Dan Frazier, whose work is synonymous with the early aesthetic of the game. Frazier focused on high-fantasy tropes, grounding the creatures in a gritty, traditional style that defined the visual identity of the first few years of the game's production. While the card is mechanically identical to those in the Core Sets of the era, the Edgar print remains a curiosity for completionist collectors due to its specific regional printing history and relative scarcity in the global market.
