Where it came from
Feed the Swarm is a black sorcery card introduced in the Zendikar Rising expansion and subsequently featured in the Midnight Hunt Commander set as collector number 117. The card is mechanically significant as one of the few instances in the color black where a player can destroy an enchantment, a capability traditionally reserved for white or green. This design choice was intended to grant black decks more versatility in the Commander format, where enchantments can otherwise be difficult to interact with.
The card’s illustration was created by artist Igor Kieryluk.
