Fleetfoot Dancer // Fleetfoot Dancer

The Fleetfoot Dancer card was released as part of the New Capenna Art Series in 2022. These cards were designed to highlight the distinct Art Deco-inspired aesthetic of the Streets of New Capenna set, which draws heavily from 1920s jazz-age glamour and the gritty underworld of organized crime. Unlike standard gameplay cards, the Art Series features high-resolution, borderless versions of the expansion's illustrations, serving as a dedicated showcase for the visual identity that Wizards of the Coast established for this plane.

The artwork for this specific piece was illustrated by Wisnu Tan, who focused on capturing the fluid movement and opulent costume design central to the set's theme. The illustration aims to blend the elegance of cabaret performance with the sharp, stylistic edges characteristic of the New Capenna aesthetic. Upon its release, this card and its counterparts in the series were well received by fans for their artistic detail and their function as collectible souvenirs that prioritize the atmospheric world-building of the set over standard play mechanics.
