Killer Service // Killer Service

Killer Service was released in 2022 as part of the Art Series for the Magic: The Gathering set Streets of New Capenna. These cards were specifically produced as collectible, double-sided variants where the front features a frame-less, high-resolution illustration of a card from the main set, while the reverse displays the artist's signature and a brief description of the work. The series was designed to showcase the art-deco, noir-inspired aesthetic that defined the plane of New Capenna, a city run by powerful criminal families.

The illustration for this card was created by artist Livia Prima, who captured the high-stakes, opulent atmosphere of the setting. Her work emphasizes the blend of elegance and underlying violence inherent to the set's theme, utilizing a sharp, cinematic composition that complements the card's function within the game. The Art Series cards are highly regarded among collectors for their role as portable galleries, highlighting the technical craftsmanship and stylized storytelling employed by the set's illustrators.
