Where it came from
Kismet was released in 1994 as part of the Legends expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed by Wizards of the Coast, the set was notable for being the first expansion to feature cards designed by players who had won the game's initial tournaments, integrating community expertise into the evolving mechanics of the early game.
The card features artwork by Amy Weber, one of the original artists involved with the game's Alpha set.
