What it does
At the beginning of combat on your turn, create a token that's a copy of target noncreature artifact you control, except its name is Mishra's Warform and it's a 4/4 Construct artifact creature in addition to its other types. It gains haste until end of turn. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step.

Where it came from
Mishra, Eminent One was released in 2022 as part of The Brothers' War Commander set for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. The card depicts a pivotal figure in the game's lore, the artificer Mishra, set during the catastrophic conflict known as the Brothers' War. This era is a cornerstone of the game's history, chronicling the destructive rivalry between Mishra and his brother Urza, and the card was designed to reflect Mishra's role as a master of mechanical artifice who enhances his creations.
The artwork for the card was created by illustrator Svetlin Velinov, whose aesthetic often leans into high fantasy and dramatic character portraits. The design intent focuses on Mishra’s ability to animate non-creature artifacts, effectively turning them into temporary, aggressive copies of themselves. Upon release, the card was widely received by the commander format community as a potent engine for artifact-focused strategies, praised for its mechanical synergy and its evocative representation of a major historical character within the game's narrative.
