All lands become 2/2 creatures until end of turn. They're still lands.

Where it came from
Natural Affinity was originally introduced in the Invasion expansion in 2000, but this specific iteration comes from the Eighth Edition core set, released in 2003. The core set served as a transitional period for the game, featuring the first use of the modern card frame that prioritized readability and aesthetic consistency across the product line.
The card’s art, rendered by illustrator Arnie Swekel, captures the chaotic essence of nature reclaiming civilization by animating lands into creatures. Swekel was a prominent contributor during this era of the game, often focusing on high-fantasy concepts that emphasized the dynamic, often aggressive, interaction between magic and the environment.
