Where it came from
Nausea was released as part of the Exodus expansion set for Magic: The Gathering in October 1998. As the second set in the Urza's Saga block, Exodus was designed to conclude the storyline involving the artificer Urza and his multiversal conflict with the Phyrexians, arriving at a time when the game was rapidly expanding its mechanical complexity and narrative depth.
