What it does
At the beginning of each upkeep, if you control no Snakes, create a 1/1 black Snake creature token with deathtouch.
Misaki's knife hovered above the snake. She didn't want to cut into it so she imagined it alive. She imagined all of them alive.

Where it came from
Ophiomancer was originally released in the 2013 Commander set, designed as a potent black creature that generates snake tokens each turn. The card quickly became a staple in the Commander format due to its ability to provide a steady stream of sacrificial fodder or chump blockers, which synergizes well with various graveyard and aristocrat-themed strategies.
This specific version, released as part of the Secret Lair series, features unique, stylized artwork that departs from the traditional aesthetic of the original printing. Secret Lair drops were conceived by Wizards of the Coast as curated, collectible editions of existing cards, often showcasing the work of guest artists to offer players distinct visual alternatives for their decks.
