Where it came from
Resolute Reinforcements was originally released as part of the Dominaria United set in 2022, functioning as a common-rarity white card designed to support go-wide strategies. It allows players to put a Soldier creature token onto the battlefield with flash, providing a versatile tool for both offensive pressure and defensive utility during an opponent's turn. The card was specifically engineered to fit within the limited environment of Dominaria United, where synergies between creature tokens and tribal mechanics were a central focus for the design team.
The card subsequently appeared in The List, a curated collection of reprints included in Set Boosters that highlights notable cards from Magic: The Gathering history. The illustration, created by artist Antonio José Manzanedo, captures the thematic essence of a sudden military mobilization, emphasizing the urgency and tactical advantage associated with the card's flash ability. Its inclusion in The List serves to maintain accessibility for these functional cards while celebrating the diverse mechanical landscape of the game's recent expansions.
