Search for Dagger // Search for Dagger

Search for Dagger is a card featured in the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, specifically released within the themed Scene Box collection. This series was designed to recreate iconic moments from the video game franchise, providing players with curated decks that reflect the narrative arcs and character dynamics of the source material. The game itself, published by Square Enix, serves as a bridge between tabletop strategy enthusiasts and fans of the long-running role-playing series.

The card’s design focuses on the pivotal early chapters of Final Fantasy IX, centering on the character Garnet Til Alexandros, known as Dagger. The aesthetic language of the card aligns with the game's high-fantasy, steampunk-inspired art direction, utilizing original character renderings that prioritize recognizability and thematic cohesion with the rest of the set. Like many entries in the Scene Box series, it was received as a functional tool for newcomers to the game, offering a structured entry point into the mechanics of the trading card system.
