Suffocating Blast

Suffocating Blast was released in 2001 as part of the Apocalypse expansion, the final set in the Invasion block for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed during a period when the game explored multicolor themes and the conflict between the Phyrexians and the Coalition, the card represents the destructive, reactive magic inherent to the blue-red color combination.
