What it does
Flurry — Whenever you cast your second spell each turn, copy it, then exile the spell you cast with four time counters on it. If it doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend. (At the beginning of its owner's upkeep, they remove a time counter. When the last is removed, they may play it without paying its mana cost. If it's a creature, it has haste.)

Where it came from
Taigam, Master Opportunist was released as part of the 2017 Commander set, specifically within the Draconic Domination deck. The character of Taigam first appeared in the lore of the Tarkir block as a student of the Jeskai Way who eventually defected to the dragonlord Ojutai, seeking power and forbidden knowledge. This card represents his incarnation following that transition, emphasizing his manipulative nature and his ability to leverage the spells cast by his opponents for his own strategic advantage.
The card's design, illustrated by Magali Villeneuve, captures Taigam's transformation into a refined, scholarly, yet ruthless figure serving the Ojutai clan. Villeneuve's work focuses on the character's icy, calculated aesthetic, utilizing the blue and white color palette associated with his allegiance. Upon its release, the card was well-received by the Magic: The Gathering community, particularly among players favoring reactive, control-oriented strategies in the Commander format, who praised its ability to turn an opponent's momentum into a board state advantage.
