Tameshi, Reality Architect // Tameshi, Reality Architect

Tameshi, Reality Architect debuted in the 2022 Magic: The Gathering set Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. As a legendary creature, Tameshi reflects the set's central conceit: the fusion of high-technology science with the traditional, spiritual heritage of the Kamigawa plane. The design focuses on the character's role as a moonfolk sage who manipulates the fabric of reality, represented mechanically by the ability to return lands to hand to trigger powerful enchantments or artifact returns.

The Art Series version, specifically collector number 36, highlights the distinct visual direction of the set, which blends cyberpunk aesthetics with feudal Japanese motifs. This particular print features the artwork by illustrator Zack Stella, whose work throughout the set emphasizes the luminous, ethereal glow of the moonfolk civilization. The card was released as part of a dedicated promotional series intended to showcase the detailed illustrations of the expansion on larger, borderless formats for collectors.
