Bearer of Memory // Bearer of Memory

The Bearer of Memory card was released as part of the Neon Dynasty Art Series in 2022. These cards were designed as promotional collectibles that feature the full, borderless artwork from Magic: The Gathering cards on the front, while the reverse side lists the card's original set information and the artist's name. This series was created to celebrate the aesthetic direction of the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set, which blended traditional Japanese folklore with futuristic cyberpunk elements.

The illustration for Bearer of Memory was created by artist Titus Lunter. Lunter’s design reflects the set's core theme of memory and spiritual resonance, utilizing a high-contrast palette and intricate detailing to convey a sense of ethereal movement. Upon release, these art cards were well-received by collectors who appreciated the opportunity to display the card illustrations without the distraction of game text and frames.
