Where it came from
Three Visits was originally released as a green sorcery in the Portal Three Kingdoms set in 1999. The card allows a player to search their library for a Forest card and put it onto the battlefield, a mechanic rooted in the set's thematic interpretation of historical Chinese military strategy and geography during the Three Kingdoms period.
This specific iteration, part of the Secret Lair Drop series identified by collector number 1991, features updated, stylized artwork designed to fit the modern aesthetic of the Secret Lair program. These limited-edition drops were created to offer players artistic variations of mechanically functional cards, often commissioning diverse illustrators to provide a distinct visual departure from standard set releases.
