Council's dilemma — Whenever Tivit enters or deals combat damage to a player, starting with you, each player votes for evidence or bribery. For each evidence vote, investigate. For each bribery vote, create a Treasure token.
While voting, you may vote an additional time. (The votes can be for different choices or for the same choice.)

Where it came from
Tivit, Seller of Secrets was released in 2022 as part of the Streets of New Capenna Commander set. The character was designed to embody the art-deco, noir-inspired aesthetic of the plane, serving as a Sphinx crime lord who navigates the cutthroat political landscape of a city run by warring demonic families. As a multi-colored legendary creature, it was crafted to provide players with a high-utility, voting-focused commander, emphasizing the strategic negotiation and intrigue central to the set's thematic identity.
The card’s artwork was illustrated by Andrew Mar, who captured the Sphinx in a sophisticated, opulent pose that reflects the corrupt elegance of New Capenna. The design focuses on mechanics that involve group decisions, specifically the 'vote' ability, which forces players to weigh benefits and risks. Upon its release, it was widely praised by the Commander community for its ability to generate resources and force interactive gameplay, solidifying its place as a popular leader for Esper-aligned decks.
