Trostani Discordant

Trostani Discordant is a legendary creature card originally introduced in the Ravnica Allegiance set, representing the Selesnya Conclave’s spiritual triad. The card was reprinted in the 2024 Ravnica: Clue Edition, a standalone board game product that blended the mechanics of Magic: The Gathering with the classic mystery game Clue. This specific version, identified as collector number 213, retains the core design intent of the original: to serve as an anthem effect that stabilizes the board state while protecting the player's creatures from being stolen or manipulated.

The character design reflects the Selesnya aesthetic of harmonious unity and organic growth, featuring the three dryads of Trostani standing in concert. The artwork captures the intersection of their individual wills—Life, Order, and Nature—which serves as the thematic foundation for their mechanical ability to populate and redistribute control of creatures. While the original release focused on standard expansion play, the inclusion of this card in the Ravnica: Clue Edition was designed to provide players with powerful, familiar cards that could serve as key pieces in the game's unique draft-and-solve format.
