Tsabo's Decree was released in 2000 as part of the Invasion expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. The set depicted the climactic invasion of the plane of Dominaria by the mechanical Phyrexian empire, a storyline that had been building for several years. The card represents a pivotal moment where the Phyrexian general Tsabo Tavoc exercises her influence to systematically eliminate opposition, reflecting the high-stakes conflict and desperate measures defining the narrative arc of the time.
