Where it came from
The pre-serialization drafts of Ura Kyouto emerged from the creative efforts of the artist Yumeya, serving as the foundational concept phase before the work was fully developed for formal publication. These early iterations represent the experimental stage of the creator’s vision, capturing the initial world-building and character archetypes that would eventually define the series' distinct atmospheric tone.
These drafts were designed to establish the aesthetic and narrative framework of the project, focusing on the specific visual style that Yumeya aimed to cultivate. While these pre-serialization pieces are inherently rare, they provide an essential look at the iterative process of the manga's evolution, offering insight into the stylistic choices that were refined during the transition to a formal serialized format.
