Released in the Two Legends expansion set (OP-08) for the One Piece Card Game, this character card features Edward Newgate, the legendary Whitebeard. The card reflects the intense narrative arc of the Marineford Summit War, a pivotal moment in the manga and anime where the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates makes a final, monumental stand to rescue his subordinate, Portgas D. Ace. As an essential figure in the lore, Newgate is consistently depicted in the game with high-cost, high-power attributes that mirror his status as the strongest man in the world.
