The Heat card, designated ST02-011, originates from the 'Worst Generation' Starter Deck released in 2022 as part of the initial launch wave of the One Piece Card Game. This deck was designed to introduce players to the mechanics of the game while highlighting the infamous group of rookie pirates known as the Worst Generation. As a character card representing one of Eustass Kid's subordinates, the design maintains the gritty, post-apocalyptic aesthetic characteristic of the Kid Pirates, utilizing the game’s signature vibrant art style to establish the series' tactical card play foundations.

The card was illustrated by one of the various artists commissioned by Bandai to translate Eiichiro Oda's manga characters into the game's functional layout. It was received primarily as a utility piece within the green-aligned decks, valued for its cost-to-power ratio and its synergy with the Kid leader card. Because it was part of a pre-constructed starter deck, it served as a common entry point for new collectors and players looking to build a cohesive deck focused on the Power attribute during the game's first year of international distribution.
