Where it came from
Released in 2023 as part of the Pillars of Strength expansion for the One Piece Card Game, the Issho card features the Marine Admiral also known as Fujitora. This card was designed to reflect his role in the Dressrosa arc, where the character prioritizes the restoration of order and the protection of civilians over the strict, often ruthless, adherence to Absolute Justice championed by his peers.
The alternate art version of OP03-078 was crafted by illustrators tasked with capturing the character’s stoic, meditative presence, often emphasizing his signature sword and his blindfolded appearance. Upon release, the card was well-received by players for its strategic utility in controlling the opponent's hand size and by collectors for the high-quality character portraiture that distinguishes it from the standard edition.
