Where it came from
The Issho card, numbered OP14-021, was released as part of the promotion for the One Piece Card Game's 'The Azure Sea's Seven' event cycle. Issued in 2024, these event cards are typically distributed to participants of official organized play events, serving as highly sought-after rewards that commemorate specific competitive seasons and thematic releases within the game's evolving meta.
The character design draws directly from Eiichiro Oda's iconic illustration style, depicting the Admiral Issho, also known as Fujitora. The artwork emphasizes the character's stoic, gravity-manipulating presence, aligning with the visual standards of the Paramount War and subsequent sets. These cards are designed by the game's production team to offer unique, often alternate-art versions of core characters, intended to function as both functional game pieces and collectible keepsakes for the community.
