Monkey.D.Luffy

The Monkey.D.Luffy card from The Time of Battle Release Event set was produced as part of the organized play support for the One Piece Card Game. These cards were distributed during specific promotional events designed to coincide with the introduction of new gameplay mechanics and competitive rotations, serving as both a memento for attendees and a functional tool for deck construction.

The design draws heavily from the established aesthetic of Eiichiro Oda's original manga, utilizing high-contrast artwork that captures Luffy's signature combat stance. By prioritizing dynamic line work and thematic color palettes consistent with the protagonist's traits, the illustration aimed to reinforce the brand's identity for the global player base. Upon release, these event-exclusive cards were received as desirable staples for enthusiasts looking to complete their sets while participating in the game's burgeoning tournament scene.
