Monkey.D.Luffy

The Monkey.D. Luffy card from the ST-11 Uta starter deck belongs to the One Piece Card Game, a strategic trading card game launched by Bandai in 2022. This particular card was released as part of a specialized starter deck centered on the character Uta, timed to coincide with promotional efforts surrounding the film One Piece Film: Red. The design features Luffy in his iconic aesthetic, rendered in the game's distinct art style which draws heavily from Eiichiro Oda's original manga illustrations while incorporating the modern graphic design elements used across the set's cards.

As part of the ST-11 set, the card was designed to support specific synergy within the game's mechanics, focusing on the film-themed archetypes that define this starter deck's playstyle. The illustration aims to capture Luffy’s high-energy personality and status as the series' central protagonist. Upon release, the set was well-received by players for providing an accessible entry point into the game, as well as by collectors interested in the unique film-specific character cards that differentiate this set from the main booster releases.
