Monkey.D.Luffy

The ST10-006 Monkey D. Luffy card was released in 2023 as part of the Ultra Deck: The Three Captains for the One Piece Card Game. This set was specifically designed to commemorate the series' 25th anniversary, focusing on the three pivotal leaders of the Worst Generation: Monkey D. Luffy, Trafalgar Law, and Eustass Kid. The inclusion of these characters in a pre-constructed deck format was intended to provide both new and experienced players with a balanced entry point into the game's mechanics, emphasizing the strategic depth of multi-color decks.

The card's design features iconic artwork consistent with the aesthetic established by Bandai for the One Piece Card Game, prioritizing dynamic illustrations that capture the personality and combat style of the protagonists. As part of the Ultra Deck series, this card was received as a high-value staple for players looking to pilot a red-purple deck, valued for its utility within the specific gameplay loop established in the Three Captains meta. The card serves as a testament to the enduring popularity of Luffy's character design and his central role in the narrative evolution of the franchise.
