Monkey.D.Luffy

The ST21-001 Monkey D. Luffy card was released as part of the ST-21 Starter Deck, which launched to support the expansion of the One Piece Card Game ecosystem. This leader card was designed to anchor a red-archetype deck, emphasizing the aggressive and high-energy playstyle characteristic of the protagonist of Eiichiro Oda’s long-running series. It serves as a central piece for players looking to utilize the game’s core mechanics while celebrating the iconic character’s evolution throughout the narrative.

The visual design of the card utilizes key art that captures Luffy in a dynamic, battle-ready stance, a hallmark of the series' aesthetic approach to merchandise. Like many cards in the Starter Deck series, the artistic direction focuses on clarity and readability for gameplay, while maintaining the vibrant color palette associated with the One Piece franchise. It has been well-received by the player base for its functional design and its appeal to collectors who prioritize character-focused leader cards in their competitive lineups.
