Portgas.D.Ace

The Portgas D. Ace leader card, identified as ST13-002, was released as part of the Ultra Deck: The Three Brothers in the One Piece Card Game. This set, launched to celebrate the bond between Luffy, Sabo, and Ace, focuses on the shared history and parallel journeys of the three brothers within the Eiichiro Oda series. The design utilizes official character artwork that emphasizes Ace’s iconic appearance and his role as the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, fitting into the game's mechanics that reward players for managing their life points strategically.

The card was designed by the One Piece Card Game development team to serve as a cornerstone for Red-Purple deck archetypes. In the context of the game's meta, the card was received as a versatile leader that encourages aggressive playstyles while maintaining thematic accuracy to Ace’s fire-based abilities. As a leader card, its visual presentation reflects the established aesthetic of the game's later sets, prioritizing clear, high-contrast imagery that highlights the character's significance to the narrative arc of the Marineford saga.
