Toko

The Toko character card, numbered OP04-098, was released in 2023 as part of the Kingdom of Intrigue expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to immerse players in the narrative arcs of the Alabasta Kingdom, bringing iconic characters from that saga into the competitive meta. The card captures the likeness of Toko, the spirited and resilient young girl from Wano whose narrative significance grew as the series progressed, reflecting the game's focus on translating complex character dynamics into tactical gameplay mechanics.

The aesthetic of the OP04 set remains consistent with the broader One Piece Card Game identity, featuring high-quality illustrations that draw directly from Eiichiro Oda's original manga panels. The design process for this set prioritized thematic cohesion, ensuring that characters like Toko possessed abilities that resonated with their roles in the source material. Upon its release, the Kingdom of Intrigue set was well-received for introducing deeper strategic complexity to the game, and Toko became a recognized addition for collectors focusing on Wano-themed character lineups.
