Cyber Dragon

Cyber Dragon was first released in 2005 as a central feature of the Cybernetic Revolution set, marking a significant shift in the competitive landscape of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Its ability to be special summoned directly from the hand when the opponent controlled a monster fundamentally changed the game's tempo and established the 'Cyber' archetype as a staple in deck construction for years to follow. The design, credited to the Konami creative team, was intended to evoke a sleek, mechanical aesthetic that felt both futuristic and formidable, quickly becoming one of the most recognizable icons in the franchise.

The OTS Tournament Pack 11 version, released in 2019, serves as a utility reprint designed to provide players with accessible copies of legacy cards for tournament play. Being a common rarity printing within a tournament-exclusive pack, this edition prioritizes function and availability for competitive deck-builders. While it lacks the aesthetic flourishes of higher-rarity holographic versions, it remains a consistent choice for players who value the historical utility of the original card's game-changing effect.
