Provenance

Where it came from

Fighting Spirit was released as a common card in the 2012 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game set Battle Pack: Epic Dawn. This set was designed specifically to facilitate a 'sealed play' format, where players opened packs and built decks on the spot, rather than using pre-constructed collections. The inclusion of cards like Fighting Spirit was intended to provide accessible support spells that could be utilized across various deck archetypes within this limited environment.

The card features artwork depicting a stylized armored figure engaged in combat, a design consistent with the high-fantasy aesthetic characteristic of the franchise's early years. As a common rarity card, it was distributed widely to ensure that players had the necessary tools to navigate the set's unique gameplay mechanics, focusing on functional playability rather than aesthetic prestige or collectible scarcity.
