Harpie Lady Sisters

Harpie Lady Sisters debuted as part of the Metal Raiders expansion, released to the North American market in 2002. As a key monster in the early Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game era, it served as a high-level centerpiece for the Harpie archetype, which was famously utilized by the character Mai Valentine in the original animated series. The card requires the 'Elegant Egotist' spell to be played, reflecting the game's early design philosophy of rewarding players for building specific, thematic card combinations.

The artwork for the card maintains the aesthetic established by series creator Kazuki Takahashi, depicting the three sisters in a dynamic, warrior-like formation. As a Super Rare card in the Metal Raiders set, it became a sought-after collectible due to its combination of iconic anime status and its foil-stamped card face. It is frequently regarded by collectors as a quintessential example of the game's early visual identity and its transition from a casual hobby into a global competitive phenomenon.
