Harpie Lady Sisters

Harpie Lady Sisters first appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game during the early 2000s, drawing its visual identity from the original manga series created by Kazuki Takahashi. The card features a trio of avian warriors inspired by the mythological harpies, a recurring motif in the series used by the character Mai Valentine. Its design emphasizes a unified, swarm-based combat strategy that reflects the character's signature deck composition, focusing on synergy between multiple Harpie-themed monsters.

The Dark Beginning 1 set, released in 2004, served as a reprint collection designed to provide players with easier access to staple cards from the game's initial era. As a common rarity inclusion in this set, this specific iteration was intended to be functional for deck building rather than a collector's showpiece. The illustration, consistent with the card's debut, maintains the classic aesthetic of the game's formative years, prioritizing distinct, illustrative character art that helped define the visual language of the franchise during its global expansion.
