Harpie Lady Sisters

Harpie Lady Sisters first appeared in the early Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game landscape, serving as a staple support for Mai Valentine's iconic Harpie archetype. The card was designed to function as a powerful boss monster that required the use of the Elegant Egotist spell to special summon, reflecting the synergistic nature of the Harpie deck which emphasizes swarming the field with avian allies. This particular version was released in the 2005 Structure Deck: Lord of the Storm, which aimed to introduce players to various WIND-attribute strategies and wind-themed card support.

The artistic design of the card maintains the classic aesthetic of the Harpie series, emphasizing a trio of warriors inspired by mythological sirens. In the context of the game's evolution, this card remains a nostalgic touchstone for collectors, representing the era when specific character-themed decks were first translated into accessible structure deck formats. While later iterations and support cards have modernized the archetype, the Lord of the Storm release is noted for its straightforward print run, which made this piece accessible to a wide audience during the mid-2000s.
