Heavy Slump

Heavy Slump was first released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Dark Revelation Volume 3 set, which debuted in the mid-2000s. The set was designed as a curated compilation, reprinting cards that had previously appeared in individual expansion sets such as Magician's Force, Dark Crisis, and Invasion of Chaos, providing players with a more accessible way to acquire key strategic cards for their decks.

The card itself features an illustration depicting a character overwhelmed by falling objects, visually representing the trap's effect, which punishes opponents for holding large numbers of cards in their hand. While the card is a common rarity, it remains a notable example of the game's focus on hand disruption mechanics, reflecting the tactical complexity and emphasis on resource management that defined the competitive landscape of the era.
